Pathways

Whether you are levelling up from diploma to degree or broadening your scope with a brand new field of study, you belong at Laurier and we can’t wait to be inspired together. Being a Golden Hawk means you are part of a community that aims high, works hard and walks with confidence.

Laurier grants standardized transfer credits to students who have completed select diplomas at an Ontario college, meet the minimum requirements, and have been admitted to any of the following programs: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media and Journalism or Bachelor of Arts in Public Safety. More details on program requirements can be found at wlu.ca/transfer.

In addition, students who have successfully completed Mohawk's General Arts and Science (University Transfer) Diploma with Indigenous Specialization, and have a minimum overall average of 75%, will be eligible for admission into Laurier's Honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Indigenous Studies. Students who graduate from Mohawk’s Pre-Health Certificate who meet minimum academic standing will be eligible for admission into Laurier’s Bachelor of Arts and Science (BASc) in Community Health.

Students who do not meet established pathway criteria will be evaluated for transfer credits on a case-by-case basis. If you don’t see your current or prospective program in one of our pathways or articulations, you may still be eligible to transfer to Laurier if you meet the minimum admissions requirements. Discover and design your own transfer pathway at wlu.ca/transfer.
